A lovely rose from my Aunt Edna's memorial service. At the time I created this image my heart was broken and without even thinking about it or analyzing it at the time I added a broken glass filter to the image. After some time had passed I looked back on the image and realized that I was trying to find comfort and I found it in the beauty of a rose.
Rachel Hannah, who is known professionally as Roanemermaid, is an artist with over 20 years of art and interior design experience.
